Welcome to entourage3D!

entourage3D is ...

3D Models

The entourage3D database includes building blocks, complete models, and "finishing touches" for users to download and use.

Browsable

To get started, pick a category of data from the Category menu at left, and then use the "Level of detail" and "Sorted by" options at the top to browse amongst those items available in the category. Click any name or thumbnail for detailed information.

Community

entourage3D is a community-participation project. Browsing is open to all, and downloading is free, but you earn "community-participation points" by contributing new material, especially material that others download, and you are invited to comment on models, etc. These activities are available only to registered users. Registration is free but requires an email address.

Research

This online archive is a research project. It was created to help capture the creative work done by designers, students, and architects at our University and elsewhere, and to make that work available to others via the web, but also to test certain community-support ideas.

People

The members of the entourage3D community of users are, indirectly, the main event. The people behind the scenes are the members of the Design Machine Group at the University of Washington Department of Architecture. The faculty lead is Brian Johnson (brj@u.washington.edu).
