Readings

I have attempted to identify supplemental readings from various sources, including the recommended text and the web. These are intended to supplement, reinforce, and extend what I am able to cover in class, and will often do so with a slightly different vocabulary or point of view, which can sometimes help. You will probably encounter redundancy if you attempt to do ALL the readings, in ALL media. However, if you're struggling with concepts, a little redundancy can be a good thing.

Feedback on the readings will be welcome.

The Site Catalog

You may encounter a web site that does a particularly good job of communicating to you, or does a nice job of addressing some issue. Please take note of such sites and contribute them to the course's "Site Catalog" (see link at left). The site catalog is organized by categories. If you don't see an appropriate category for the site you want to add, use the "New Category" form to create the category, and then add the site.

Attendance and Participation points will be awarded for contributions to the catalog.
